Natalie Richards is a Research Assistant working on a variety of quality improvement research projects. Her role includes assisting with literature reviews, conducting qualitative interviews and analysing data, as well as working to support teams with their projects on a day-to-day basis.
Natalie holds a BSc in Natural Sciences from Lancaster University and an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Nottingham. Prior to joining THIS Institute, Natalie was a Research Assistant within NHS Improvement, where she conducted research and evaluation into quality improvement and transformational change programmes for health and social care staff.
Natalie’s research interests include health inequalities, patient safety and organisational improvement capability. Her work currently focusses on improvement capabilities in mental health organisations.
