Alison joined the University of Cambridge’s Primary Care Unit in 2019 as PA to the Professor of Nursing. The role transferred to THIS Institute in 2023 when Jo McPeake became Professor of Nursing.
Alison’s career began in the City of London, has included roles in Germany and New Zealand, a decade as a local education authority offices and team manager, and later branched out into education settings, before returning to local government administration.
