Bethan is the Avoiding Brain Injury in Childbirth (ABC) Project Coordinator at THIS Institute.
She supports the day-to day management and coordination of the ABC collaboration, including research governance, financial, risk and project management; and assisting with project communications.
Previously, Bethan was a Study Coordination Assistant, supporting the Study Coordinator in the delivery of governance and operational aspects of THIS Institute’s portfolio of studies. Prior to joining THIS, Bethan was as a Research Assistant at the MRC Epidemiology Unit. This involved gathering participant data on both observational and intervention studies, both within the clinical facility and out in community settings.
Bethan has an MSc by Research, which examined validating an online health and lifestyle questionnaire in school aged children using a novel wearable camera. Bethan has a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science.
