Dr Clare Leong
Academic Clinical Fellow in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology
Clare completed her medical studies at the University of Cambridge, graduating at the top of her class in 2014.
She also holds a BA (Hons) 1st class degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
In 2019 she was appointed to an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where she works as a specialist registrar. She combines her clinical commitments with active roles in teaching, quality improvement and global health activities.
Research Interests
Clare is currently working on a project investigating the influences on implementation of end of life care guidelines.
