Ellie is the Assistant Director for Innovation and Improvement Programmes at the Health Foundation. She is responsible for the strategic development and operational delivery of the Health Foundation’s portfolio of funding programmes to support innovation and improvement in health and care.
Ellie has worked at the intersection of technology, innovation and social impact across many different sectors. Before joining the Health Foundation in October 2021, Ellie co-founded and led Pivotal Act, a programme housed within technology companies Pivotal and VMware (now Broadcom), dedicated to working with non-profits to collaboratively create digital products that address social issues and drive impact. Before this, she worked at the UK based startup OpenSignal, the World Bank, the US Department of Energy, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ellie is also a non-executive director of the non-profit campaigning organisation 38 Degrees.
