Liza McAlonan is the Health Foundation’s Assistant Director of Communications. She joined the organisation in January 2008.
Liza started her career as a researcher in the Houses of Parliament and has since worked in strategic communications roles in the charity and public sectors. In 2014 she undertook a year’s secondment to the Department of Health’s communications directorate where she managed delivery of a major public awareness campaign about changes to social care.
Liza is an Accredited Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and is a member of their Public Affairs Group’s executive committee.
