Background

Meredith holds a joint research fellowship with Homerton College, Cambridge and THIS Institute. She has a BA in International Studies from Trinity College, CT, an MPhil in Anthropology from the University of Oxford, and will receive her PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology from Yale University in 2020.

Approach

Meredith specialises in qualitative research and ethnographic methods. Her work explores how values and aspirations emerge in relation to bureaucratic processes. She is interested in theorizing themes of care, trust, and wellbeing across public sector providers, including in healthcare. Meredith currently collaborates on THIS projects on testing for COVID-19, working with a multidisciplinary team to consider the ethics of institutional testing programs.
