These activities include involvement and engagement in health technology appraisals, developing diagnostic and treatment guidelines, participation in funding committees for national research projects, contributing to the governance of clinical trials. She advocates for the expansion of patient and public engagement in the effective practice and organisation of care to guide health system decision-making to improve health services and population health outcomes. She is a citizen scientist for Cochrane Crowd and a consumer reviewer for several journals.
