Helen leads on the development, delivery, and evaluation of our engagement and involvement activities, ensuring that our stakeholders – NHS staff, patients, carers, policymakers, academics, and others – shape our research from inception through to impact.
Helen joined the team in April 2026. Previously she was a Senior Project Manager in NHS England’s national mental health programme, working on the transformation of specialist perinatal mental health services and children and young people’s crisis care. Prior to this Helen has nearly 20 years’ experience in the VCSE sector including at Health Services Research UK, Nesta, Khulisa and the Prince’s Trust.
Helen has a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Nottingham.
