Philippa is a Project Manager at THIS Institute, responsible for the day-to day project management of a range of research projects in our portfolio.
She joined THIS in November 2021 following an extended career break to raise her family. She has worked on a range of projects at THIS institute including Avoiding Brain Injury in Childbirth (ABC) and the most recent workstreams of Identifying Operational Failures in General Practice.
A significant part of Philippa’s career prior to THIS was spent as a Senior Programme Manager at the Careers Research and Advisory Centre Ltd, responsible for delivering a national training and development programme for doctoral and postdoctoral students and research staff on behalf the UK research councils. She also managed a broad portfolio of career development projects on behalf of the organisations’ clients including NGO’s, Higher Education Institutions and business.
Philippa has a BA (Hons) in English and History from Keele University.
